We started our meal with some traditional Thai teas, which were beautifully decorated with latte art in the shape of little elephants. We also tried the mimosas, which were made with a higher proportion of sparkling wine than juice, making them the perfect balance of sweet and bubbly.
From Tender Chicken to Starry Eggs: Our Main Dishes at Galanga Thai House
For our main dishes, we ordered the khao mun gai, a dish of ginger-scented rice accompanied by tender chicken and poached duck, and served with a comforting bowl of chicken broth on the side. We also tried the Kai Kata, which was a starry egg with a homemade pork sausage and sourdough bread. And, of course, we couldn’t leave without sampling some of the spicy sauces that are available with each dish, ranging from mild to sweat-inducing.
